Born on 6th July 1959 in Kuwaritol, Kaliabor, Nagaon, to Late Kamal Ch. Mahanta and Smt. Kanchan Mahanta. He completed his Graduation in Political Science.
Keshab Mahanta is an Indian politician. He was elected to the Lok Sabha, lower house of the Parliament of India from the Kaliabor Constituency of Assam in 1996 as a member of the Asom Gana Parishad. He was elected to the Assam Legislative Assembly from Kalibor in 2006,2011,2016 & 2021.
Currently he is Minister of Health & Family Welfare, Medical Education & Research, Information Technology, Science & Technology & Climate Change in Government of Assam.
